Custom Coordinates is a privately held travel advisory based in El Segundo, California. We are a member of Virtuoso and deliberately small — a short client list is the only way to keep the same person on your travel from the first call through your return home.

I have stayed in nearly every room I’ll send you to.

The discipline is simple: recommend nothing I have not seen. I personally vet the properties on our list — the suite the website does not show you, the corner table, the service when no one is watching. If a house has slipped, you will hear it from me before you go, not after.

We work from El Segundo, California, and across whatever time zone you happen to be in. When a connection is missed or a plan changes on the ground, the person who planned your travel is the one who answers — at a reasonable hour and an unreasonable one alike.

Who travels, where, and when stays between us. We do not publish client names, we do not sell or share your details, and we ask the same of the houses we work with. References are offered privately, on request, with a client’s permission — never displayed.

Plans changed twice while we were abroad, both times quietly handled before we noticed. We were never once asked to manage it ourselves.
